Our education system must be of inclusive nature. This will provide an amicable situation for children to learn. It focuses more on disability and special educational needs. What is inclusive education? It is about refusal to accept segregation based on physical ability, gender, race, status, language, ethnic origin and so on. It also means that inclusive schools are open to all students and satisfy all student needs. It is not that easy as it sounds. It is a continuing process and the system needs to be strengthened over time. The teachers play a very important role in inclusive education. They need to develop games and syllabi which are competitive and also accommodate the interests of all the participating parties. There are many reasons to adopt inclusive education. It promotes human rights, good education and good social sense. One teacher who supports inclusive education raised a very interesting question during the age old debate on inclusive education. Her question was, “Are we trying to protect children from each other by encouraging segregated schools?” Inclusive education is known to build friendships and remove any sort of fear. I believe inclusive education is the step towards tolerance and is the means to an efficient education system.
My nephew is crazy about a pop star; his icon means everything to him. He goes crazy when his icon performs. That is the power of a celebrity, to make kids crazy and influence them. Why shouldn’t such control be put to good use? Why shouldn’t the craze be turned towards education? I know you might have guessed on what I am trying to convey. Celebrities are those magical people who can influence children more than any other power. They can play an important role in providing education to all, which is the theme of my blog. Celebrities can organize shows to provide funds to strengthen the education system and to help the not so lucky kids. I know a number of celebrities are doing such things but it requires more participation. Celebrities can prove to be excellent role models for students. One must know that, the Desperate Housewives, star Marcia Cross left her role in the TV show Melrose Place, to earn her degree in psychology. Such things inspire students and they will realize that education is more important than fame and money. There is a survey which states that celebrities can influence people better than anybody else. So are the celebrities listening?

My neighbor was getting ready for her a big night in her college. I saw her preparing for the party for almost a month. The friends shopped together, everything was fine and perfect. She went to the party and the next day I was surprised to see her. The enthusiasm that I saw in her had disappeared and the worst part of it was that her eyes were swollen. A night transformed the most beautiful eyes to swollen eyes. That party was nothing other than the farewell party! It is a night which all students look forward so that they can dress smartly but pray that the night never ends. It is one party where tears and smiles happen unknowingly. I have tried to understand what beauty is, and I found the answer in a farewell party. A girl was smiling and crying, and then the entire auditorium was filled with the same emotions. There are times when the sun meets the moon and that is the most beautiful sight. Similarly when tears meet those smiles, what more could one ask for?! These days’ students are more socially aware and hence contribute a portion of their farewell party money to the needy and underprivileged. This way they spread the happiness that has radiated from their hearts to more people. Farewell parties are also special because it is the last opportunity to tell a person how much you love or ask forgiveness or settle an old argument! Farewell parties carry a special message to each one of us and that message is memories never die!
