The most important thing in a student’s life is to have a good diet. A good diet is necessary to shine in studies. It gives the strength to withstand the pressure and competition. Students of different age groups require different dietary plans. There is a Food Pyramid which specifies the quantity of food that each age group must consume. Lots of children diet these days because they are crazy about fashion. This must be prevented because having a size-zero body is not healthy and may result in number of complications. They may also develop an eating disorder called anorexia and hence children with size-zero attitudes must be discouraged. Many of the children’s’ habits are created when they are 6-12 years. This is the time that the children must be educated on healthy eating. It may be difficult to avoid junk foods but it is better to reduce their intake. School canteens should abstain from selling such junk foods and concentrate on healthy food. This will surely discourage students liking towards junk foods. Parents must avoid bribing children with food items as this may lead to obesity. A good diet does not make the student obese or cause any health problems but makes one healthy and strong!
