Did you think education is about geography, history, english, mathematics?! It is more than writing exams to earn the grades. There has been a lot of change to make education more purposeful and competitive. Children are encouraged on alternative thinking and creativity. This helps them to handle crisis situation in a very different manner and effectively. Did you think writing exams alone fetched marks?! It is a different story where children are asked to come up with projects which can be of great help to the society. Many of these ideas are implemented and have proved useful to society. Some of these projects are funded by leading giants in technology and scientific world. This exposure gives students a chance to learn a lot of things. Schools also encourage student exchange programme, which will help the students to learn about different cultures. This is needed to promote peace and tolerance in this world which is full of hatred and intolerance. It is better to educate about peace at young age than try explaining later. Students are also encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities like games, music, dance and so on. This helps them grow both as an individual and also a team member. These trends are to prove the fact that a person with great IQ must also have the capability to express it and must have a character too! Education is a methodology which aims to develop a person as a whole!.
